Exhibitor Services Manual available On-Line
The Exhibitor Services Manual (ESM) is now available on-line. Having exhibited at numerous shows ourselves, we understand that delving into the ESM can be quite intimidating! Nevertheless, we strongly encourage you to take some time to familiarize yourself with the manual, with an eye towards what you’ll need on-site in order to effectively convey your marketing message to prospective buyers.  Understanding your own unique exhibition needs early, and placing your orders in advance, could potentially save you a lot of "green" - so don’t put this off until later.

While reviewing the On-Line ESM, be sure to look for those products or services featuring the Green West logo , as these denote 'green' products that are either recycled, able to be recycled/composted, or have a high sustainability factor.

In fact, the decision to only feature the ESM on-line was in itself a very eco-conscious decision. Click here to learn more about our on-going efforts to continually lessen the footprint of Green West.

Walking the Walk - In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint, 38% of Green Media Enterprises' staff work from home. Of the others, 20% take public transit to work one or more times weekly!

A Deadline Checklist that will Save you Bundles!
There’s the old adage "Never pay more than you need to for anything." And while there's no substitute for familiarizing yourself with all the goods and services featured in the On-Line ESM, this handy Deadline Checklist will give you 'heads up' as to what orders are coming due. Adhering to these dates will assure you "don’t pay more than you need to for anything" at Green West.

Walking the Walk - Arriving at the show you will find most aisles are not carpeted. We made this decision after considering the environmental impact of shipping thousands of pounds of carpet from the decorator’s warehouse in Las Vegas to Los Angeles: like the diesel for the truck, and the propane for the forklifts to load the carpet on the truck, and the return drive back to Las Vegas, and the detergent to clean the carpet after it's offloaded, and the electricity needed to dry it before it's stored away…… In the end, we decided the cement floor at the Los Angeles Convention Center looks very green!

Maximize your Booth Traffic
To attract as many attendees as possible to Green West, our Marketing team has put together a comprehensive promotional program and continues to forge alliances with major media partners. However, exhibitors who supplement our campaign with their own promotional efforts are likely to have more visitors at their booth than those companies who don’t. To help maximize your booth traffic, order a supply of Guest Invitations to send to your clients, letting them know you’ll be at the show - and giving them a 50% discount off their registration!

Submit your Show Guide Listing Today
The deadline for us to receive your free 50-word Show Guide listing is March 31. To submit your listing, visit Marketing and Promotional Opportunities and click on "Free Listings in the Green West Show Guide".  It is extremely important that you submit your listing on-time, as the Show Guide is the main resource attendees will use to locate companies of interest on the show floor.

Green West Offers L.A. Metro Transit Passes in Lieu of Shuttle Service
In lieu of chartering a fleet of buses to provide shuttle service between the hotels and the Convention Center, Green West has partnered with L.A.’s Metro, operator of a comprehensive transit system in the downtown area.  Every exhibitor and attendee who books a room through the official housing bureau at one of the official show hotels by April 25 will receive a Three-Day Metro Transit Pass (along with directions on how to use it) at check-in. The pass is valid for three consecutive days of unlimited travel on any Metro-operated bus, subway, or light rail line. Use it to simply get between your hotel and the Convention Center (click here for detailed instructions), or perhaps to ride the Red Line Subway to Hollywood or Universal Studios. By the way, L.A.'s Metro has the nation's largest Clean Air fleet of buses.
